First Baptist Church of Kennedale has a blended style of music in our 8:30 a.m. worship service featuring hymns and praise & worship songs. The 11:00 a.m. worship service includes contemporary praise & worship songs accompanied by keyboard, drums, and guitar. All music is designed to bring us into worship before hearing God's Word taught by our pastor.
Children, ages 4 through 2nd grade, have exciting activities during the 11:00 a.m. hour in our Kids Zone.
Our nursery is well organized and includes a personal pager for the parents.
Prayer and Bible study occur on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. We are now studying Exodus.
Youth have worship and Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., as well as Sundays at 10 a.m.
Our choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. You are invited to join us as we prepare a Christmas musical, entitled The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power , for March 16. You do not have to read music. You do need a heart to sing.
Our children meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays to learn about missionaries and their part in telling about God's good news. The children's choir also practice at 6:30 p.m. on a spring musical drama for April 13, 6 p.m.
Women's Missionary Union meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. to participate in missionary activities and study. They are also active in the food ministry distribution at Bisbee on Thursdays.
Ladies began studying Stepping Up, a journey through the Psalms of Ascent , by Beth Moore, on Monday, March 3, at 6:30 p.m. Child care is provided.
Men are studying 1 & 2 Thessalonians on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m.
