Thailand - Michael Ivison (6/9/07)

Hey,
It's Michael. I'm glad to tell you that everything here is going great! The ministry here is just amazing.
Yesterday, we took a 1 hour boat ride to minister to a Burmese village in the middle of the jungle. We divided up into 3 teams. 1 team went to various houses and ministered, 1 team is digging a well, and 1 team was helping teach the kids English, Burmese, math, and to teach them about Jesus....

Sorry it took so long for me to reply. Internet access here is not as easy as it is in the states. This past week, I've been going to the jungle everyday. Hey,
Things are finally slowing down here. All the teams are gone, so now it's just the long-term missionaries. Hello everyone!

Hehe, I'm starting to miss everyone now. How is everything going at the church? This last week has been great. We rested up and hung out with each other. One of the long-term missionaries here, Donna, is going home sometime in late July. She wasn't sure if she was going to coming back or not. However, one of the teams that came here, Riverside church from Louisiana, told her they...

Hello,

How is everyone doing? I'm starting to get a little home sick now. It's natural though. I really, really enjoy here. Doing God's work is amazing. Being down here has really shown me how good it feels to sacrifice yourself to do God's work. When we sacrifice ourselves, God gives us a whole new level of joy and a whole new level of dedication. I've really realized how little I was dedicated...
